On Saturday, February 8th the Majestic Officers, Imperials, Trio, and Soloists attended the MA Dance North Texas Regional Competition hosted at Grapevine High School. This is the first time the team has competed since the 2016-2017 school year. The girls represented Lovejoy in the highest regard earning many top honors.
All groups received the Super Sweepstakes recognition by earning a score of 90 or higher from all judges on all routines. The Majestic Officers placed first in jazz, contemporary, and lyrical earning them first place overall in their division and recognition for choreography! Makenzie Aubel, Hannah Brookshire, and Regan Novotny competed as a trio and placed first in their category. The Imperials placed first as a Large Ensemble with their contemporary routine. Makenzie Aubel placed 5th in the 15-16 soloist division, and Kylee Reinke placed 5th in the 17-18 soloist division.

The Majestics Dance Team recently received news that their Team Hip Hop routine from the Spring 2020 competition season ranked in the Top 20 team performances of 2020!!!
On Saturday, February 22nd The Majestics Dance Team attended the Crowd Pleasers Frisco Showcase dance competition hosted at Lebanon Trail High School. 7 team routines, 7 solos, 1 trio, and 18 hours later...the girls won many top awards, representing Lovejoy with high honors!!!
